We have a lot to cover this week guys! Last week I talked to you all about your zero pages and what I want each of you to get done this month. We will be working on zero pages first since the deadline is coming. This week, you will go to at least 1 event! Everything happens this week so we need to get it covered. Make sure you check out a camera BEFORE school if you want to do spirit week days and get pictures of students at lunch and after school. We can't interrupt every class this week, so you have to be able to get people's pictures in between classes.
Remember, candid pictures for the year book are pictures that are clear of a person/group where you can see their face. Pics that are not allowed in the yearbook are as followed: blurry pictures, back of people's heads, pictures that don't have any kids or people in them, dark photos where you don't see anything. Take over 100 photos for each event and delete the ones that don't turn out well.
Editors in Chief: Corrie and Chelsie will be editing the your layouts this week. They will be fine tuning your layout so that they are harmonious with the rest of the pages. Remember, they are helping and treat their edits with respect and kindness.
Editors Hannah and Hunter: You guys will be finishing organizing the photos into the page folders so that students can start uploading the photos onto the pages. Next week will be another big wave of pictures to put into folders, so we have to finish organizing the September pictures. I will be uploading pictures onto my computer and I am not able to upload and organize at the same time, so I greatly appreciate your hard work!
Overall Goals for this week:
-All pages edited
-All photos get put into folders
- All students get their pictures for their zero pages taken!!! You must also collect information for your caption. If you are at an event or game and need help to get your pictures covered for your page, ask someone in the class for help. If a person does help you out, then you will have to help them out later as well if they need any assistance.
-If in class you have to get pictures of people, you can go out and take pictures, however, you need a note from me and you have to spend that time doing yearbook. I am trusting you and if I hear that you are using yearbook time to do other things, you will not be allowed to leave class to take pictures of students. OR you will have to go with a responsible student that will make sure you are on task.
Goals for next week!
-Edit the pictures you took,
-uploading pictures into pages
-tagging faces
-making captions
